Lisa Watts Natkin

Lisa has been in the evaluation field for 20 years helping clients design evaluation plans to gather information that will help them do what they do more effectively and answer the questions they pose. Lisa is a mixed methods researcher and an experienced qualitative researcher, fascinated by how people’s experiences shape their perspectives and worldview.

Lisa has years of experience assisting clients with developing data collection instruments, conducting interviews, managing data collection, analyzing data, and communicating findings. Currently, Lisa is working as the evaluator on two Human Resources and Services Administration federal grants supporting psychiatry access to pediatric and family medicine providers serving pediatric patients and specialty providers serving perinatal patients in Vermont. She also serves as an evaluator for a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services’ grant aiming to increase access of treatment for Opioid Use Disorder through Medication Assisted Treatment on Staten Island. Lisa is a team-player and assists in other C4BHI efforts such as providing qualitative analyses for an initiative examining the effectiveness of a treatment model for adolescent substance use and co-occurring problems.

Dr. Natkin has a Master of Science in Environmental Education and a Doctorate in Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Lisa also served as a co-President for the Vermont Evaluation Network. When not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two children, two dogs, and husband in Hinesburg, Vermont. She likes to ski, bike, camp, play games, color, and have dance parties with her family.
