Patrick Kinner, LMHC, has more than 12 years experience overseeing evaluation efforts for behavioral health programs, public health services, healthcare systems, and the implementation of community-based complex care initiatives. Prior to joining C4BHI in 2018, Mr. Kinner served for 10 years as the Director of Evaluation and Performance Management for the Vermont Department of Health’s Chronic Disease Division.
Patrick has worked in a wide range of human services organizations his entire career, and has been fortunate to consistently partner with dedicated, mission-driven people and organizations that work to improve the lives of their communities. He sees evaluation as a way to help them in this mission, and to allow them to tell their stories. His expertise includes conducting process and outcome evaluation using mixed methods, building evaluation capacity, and overseeing continuous quality improvement initiatives using data. Lastly, Mr. Kinner is a licensed mental health clinician who, prior to spending the past 12 years focused on programmatic evaluation, worked in a wide range of behavioral health settings.
Patrick holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology. He is also one of the founders of the Vermont Evaluation Network, is the current Vice President of the Greater Boston Evaluation Network, and volunteers in other capacities to support the communities of which he is a part. He also runs a small performance management company, Evaluand Consulting. When not working as an evaluator Patrick likes to hike, read, play basketball and tennis, and travel.
