The HIV/MAT project runs through a grant provided by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT).

SunRiver healthcare – a large Federally Qualified Health Center organization with offices in Long Island and NY state is the grantee.
We are evaluating a Long Island program designed to help provide medical care and pharmacotherapy for substance misuse in patients suffering from HIV and/or Hep B/C.
The evaluation illustrates that the program is successful in engaging patients in a variety of needed services and helping them cut down on drug injection, the effects of substances in their lives, and other substance-related behaviors.
