Dr. Kamon has worked in the field of substance use and mental health for over twenty years, serving as a researcher and evaluator, clinician, consultant, and trainer and has co-authored 18 publications. Dr. Kamon's goal is to support community and medical organizations to effectively implement, evaluate, and sustain evidence-based practices for addressing behavioral health issues and enhancing the well-being of individuals and families.

Co-Owner, C4BHI

Dr. Turner is a clinical psychologist, evaluator, and instructor in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Effective Interventions for Youth and Families and Healthcare Integration. Currently, Dr. Turner's primary work is helping communities increase the capacity to deliver effective integrated healthcare for substance use, co-occurring disorders, and other social determinants impacting wellness. Dr. Turner is helping to advance the implementation of integrated care in hospital departments, community medical centers, and other entities through program development, evaluation, and training. He is a clinical instructor for Stony Brook University Health Sciences Department, a senior content advisor for Hendall consulting on the KAP program, and has participated in expert panels for the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), the National Drug Court Institute (NDCI), the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), the New York Times and Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ).

Patrick worked for many years as a licensed mental health therapist, and in leadership positions in mental health. He brings this experience into evaluation projects, developing performance management activities and building evaluation capacity to make evaluation ongoing and sustainable. Patrick is an engaging presenter and participated in numerous publications.

Dr. Scully is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. She possesses a unique skill set that is leveraged from over 20 years as a licensed healthcare clinician, clinical researcher, educator, and certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has successfully led and managed clinical research studies and programs across the continuum of patient care. She capitalizes on opportunities that maximize operational efficiency leading to conducting high-quality clinical research and evaluations.

Lisa Watts Natkin, PhD

Program Evaluator

Dr. Natkin is an evaluator, researcher, and educator. She enjoys working with clients to design evaluation plans to gather information that will help them do what they do more effectively and answer the questions they pose. She has years of experience assisting clients with developing data collection instruments, conducting interviews, managing data collection, analyzing data, and communicating findings. She is an experienced qualitative researcher, fascinated by how people’s experiences shape their perspectives and worldview.

Program Evaluator

Johanne conducts follow-up interviews for C4BHI, at 3 and 6 months post initial services with individuals who have received services. She facilitates the entering and organization of follow-up data collected into required databases and also communicates with community partner programs to ensure ongoing participant recruitment for follow-up. As an MPH student, Johanne enjoys analyzing and interpreting public health data, dissecting the structures of the public health system, and examining how equity and ethics in public health contribute to health outcomes. With a B.S in Health Sciences and an M.S in Public Health, in progress, accompanied by years of leadership and experience supporting communities both at the University of Vermont and, further, in Chittenden County, she uses her experience to connect with clients and collect data efficiently.

Allison manages the finance and business operations of C4BHI. Prior to joining the team, she served several nonprofits throughout Vermont and New York, bringing with her a strong professional background in the management of finance and accounting, human resources, and business operations.
