Novel approaches to help NY’s most vulnerable youth = Project ENTER

Project ENTER is a CSAT funded collaboration between Education Alliance, NY Agency of Children’s Services, and C4BHI. The project uniquely embeds youth wellness mentors (YWMs) to engage youth involved in NY Agency of Children’s Services (as illustrated in the chart below representing 139 unique contacts and 152 re-engagements) to provide care and help link youth and families with local treatment resources.

Over the course of the five-year grant, the goal is for 450 youth and families to receive help, decreasing the impacts of substance use for some of NYC’s most vulnerable populations. C4BHI staff provide implementation, training, and evaluation support to meet objectives, develop lessons learned and help partners build a system of care for youth and families identified with moderate or severe substance use in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Brooklyn.
