C4BHI is engaging more Vermont high schools and colleges to disseminate YSBIRT digital screening tools and intervention resources.
Our current project with Twin Valley middle and high school will be doing their second universal screen with all 7th through 12th graders invited through a digital linked announcement for Chromebook self-administration. This past fall the guidance team screened 129 students for sociology-emotional strengths and risks with our SnapShotVt tool.
The team is prepared to check in with any student needing help and they will see any alerts to indicate an immediate response. Last fall they provided immediate check-ins for 14 students and offered additional resources to help care for them.
