Evaluating evidence-based interventions’ implementation success

We are working with a community behavior health and substance use provider in New York City to check how their implementation of evidence-based interventions is going. Part of evaluating the implementation of evidence-based treatment programs is tracking appropriateness of fit, the integration of a practice within a setting, and fidelity. We evaluated data from different sites of this NYC provider to see if they are offering services to enough clients and if enough services are being provided. The different facilities are the unit of our analysis.

The analysis was shared with clinical leaders as feedback and to spark a more granular discussion on adapting and fitting interventions effectively to different settings. By using service utilization data to see trends in length of stay and rates of service we can help clinical leaders ensure the conditions are met for more specific service and client outcomes to be met.
