Evaluation: Refocus On Alcohol Dependence

C4BHI collaborated with several community partners in Central Vermont to conduct a pilot evaluation for the ROAD program – Refocus On Alcohol Dependence. The ROAD program is a community treatment pathway that can help people quit or reduce risky drinking. ROAD was a pilot project aimed to refine the clinical protocol(s) and referral pathways to treatment for individuals diagnosed with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in the Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) Emergency Department (ED). ROAD aimed to make getting help easier and more accessible by using a low-barrier approach to AUD care that is designed to help people get the help they need when they needed it.
